Located a 25-minute drive south of Hobart in the naturally stunning Huon Valley is a large rustic barn surrounded by green pastures and old wooden buildings. The Apple Shed combines a casual country feel with modern design. They can fit up to 200 people for a cocktail-style event, or seated inside they can cater for a 100-person buffet-style dinner – more if you are willing to sit outside.

If you’re looking for a beautiful rustic Tasmanian venue for your wedding, the Apple Shed is perfect. You can hire the venue exclusively, and this includes beverage staff, set-up and cleaning, microphone and pa, and all existing furniture.

Royal Hobart Golf Club, Seven Mile Beach

With their major renovation now complete, they have a modern reception facility for you and your guests to enjoy.

Walk down the aisle with the cascading waterfall by your side, or the lake on their large rural property. Whatever your dream wedding, Tall Timbers in Tasmania’s picturesque North West has two function rooms that will make ideal wedding venues.

To save your time and money they can recommend event organisers, stylists and wedding-hire specialists to help you out. Tall Timbers also offers beautiful romantic suites for your honeymoon too.

Lemonthyme Lodge, Moina 

Located in Tasmania’s Cradle Mountain Valley, Lemonthyme Wilderness Retreat is the ideal location to hold your special day. The atmosphere is peaceful and serene, with a welcoming aura that soothes the soul and inspires the spirit. Choose a spot amongst the ferns, beside the waterfall, on the veranda or by the cosy log fire.

Their Main Lodge is the venue for your reception and features their “Whispering Woods” restaurant. The restaurant can hold up to 100 guests and can be configured to one or two rooms depending on the number of guests.

You are welcome to have a wedding planner or table decorator. However, the table decorator is to be in charge of setting up and cleaning up.

Waterfront Function Centre, Devonport
