"Your wedding is unique to your needs. My goal is to create an event which is perfect, for you.
Therefore I’ve chosen not to brand myself as a “type” of celebrant.
My "point of difference", is you."
Julia is based in the beautiful Huon Valley, Tasmania. She relocated from the mainland to pursue a more quiet life, and has found it on a divine rural property which she shares with a clutch of animal friends.

Combined with her attention to detail, creative designs and a desire to create beautiful custom ceremonies for her couples, Julia has had a busy first two years as a Civil Celebrant.
Other relevant qualifications Julia holds are a Bachelor of Performing Arts, a Graduate Diploma in Education, a Cert IV in Small Business Management and a Cert IV in Training and Assessment.
LOVE IS LOVE: Julia is delighted to invite couples of all genders, and families from all cultural backgrounds to partake in her range of services and ceremonies.
18 months in advance will usually secure your preferred date during the busy season. But you can book me any time up to a month before your wedding so that we have time to do the NOIM.
How can you personalise our ceremony?
I have an extensive planning and information booklet that I give out to all my couples. In there is a wide range of options for all elements of the ceremony, from traditional to modern. Plus I am open to anything you want to include or remove. I've got a great hand fasting ritual and some meaningful ideas for including kids.
What do we need for the paperwork?
To complete the Notice of Intended Marriage we will need to see your name, face and evidence of place and date of birth. So, a passport will do the trick. If you don't have one, then your birth certificate plus a drivers licence will do.
If you have been married before, then we'll need to see evidence of dissolution of that marriage.
Are you available to travel?
Yes. I am based in the Huon Valley and service all of the Greater Hobart area at no charge. For ceremonies in other area of the state I do have a travel fee which is customised for the distance.
Do you conduct ceremony rehearsals?
I have three standard wedding packages and the "Loving Indulgence" package includes a ceremony rehearsal. Check out the video on this page to help you decide whether or not you think you will need one.
What is your price range?
I have a range of packages starting at $300 for a Legal Ease wedding, through to $600 for the Loving Indulgence package. All my packages can be customised if required, to suit your circumstances and needs.
