The ultimate bridezilla vs wedding planner smackdown

Blushing bride, glowing bride, beaming bride… we all know these adjectives are “a-ok” when it comes to describing a woman about to tie the knot. There’s one moniker though that most women would prefer to avoid – the dreaded bridezilla!

The ultimate bridezilla vs wedding planner smackdown

One US-based bride, however, appears to have no qualms about being a high-maintenance bridezilla, when she took to her wedding planner‘s Facebook page after her big day to leave a scathing review.

The woman wrote of LB Events and Promotions: “They suck and are so rude!! They rushed us to do the bouquet toss when we weren’t even ready to do it yet!! Ughhhh!!! Save yourself some stress and choose someone else!!”

Unexpectedly, the company retaliated, leaving their own “review” for the irate bridezilla.

“Thank you so much… for showing your true colours for everyone to see,” the reply began.

“We were going to let your disaster of a wedding slide but since you decided to initiate a negative comment, we are certainly willing to reply.

“For the record, we have conducted over 360 events and worked with well over 200 brides and have had nothing but great events and satisfied clients and hundreds of referrals in our 10 years of business.”

The Georgia-based company went on to claim the couple had stalled on payments, accusing the bride of lying “on multiple occasions as to when and how payment was coming through” and insisted on a “ludicrous” timeline.

“Until your wedding rolled onto our calendar we have never had to deal with such an incompetent, discourteous and evasive bride/groom/client, etc… and never have felt that getting paid was going to be an issue again until we were graced with your wedding,” the reply continued.

“We spent several days instructing you where and how to pay us as if you’d never experienced a monetary transaction in your youthful, immature existence.”

The reply also explained that wedding guests were left to wait for up to two hours for the newlyweds to arrive at the reception venue, meaning the rest of the event was rushed.

“That left you with 43 minutes for first dances, dinner, five speeches from bridesmaids and cake cutting and sparklers during daylight (I reiterate incompetent).

“I don’t know anyone who works for free,” the company wrote, “and we most certainly do not as our time is valuable and you were educated thoroughly on what to expect from us.”

“Feel free to unlike our page.”

The company has since deleted its Facebook page after the review went viral.
